Running Man 

I am obsessed with this South Korean variety show. It has awesome casts and is utterly hilarious.

I watched all 200 so episodes and is awaiting for the next one.

I definitely recommend this show if you are interested in comedy and reality shows.

Also it is great when you are on break or have a lot of free time because each ep

is around 1 hour. After watching this show since 2010, I have become

interested in the Korean culture and its people.

And yes, I do listen to some Kpop sometimes but that's completely OK.

In addition to Running Man I also recommend a show called Superman Returns or Return of Superman, it is a reality TV show where toddlers and their dads go on adventures and do things.

It's super cute and fun to watch, and definitely recommend you to watch.

First Beauty Post!

Today I'm going to blog about one of my favorite products, which, is a lip tint by The Face Shop, a Korean cosmetic brand.

I bought the milky moisture tint in strawberry pink (#1) about 3 months ago

and have loved it ever since. It is super moisturizing and gives a subtle

pop of color to your lips. I believe it was around $15 or so, which, is pretty affordable considering other lip products today. 

I plan on buying more soon in the color I have now (#1) and in (#2), which, is a 

coral like color. This lip product is great for non makeup users, because it doesn't 

make you look too different and is very natural looking. I like to apply this after lip balm and when I do a gradient lip look- popular in Korea. I will be doing a post on how you can achieve the gradient lip look soon, so make sure to stay tuned. 

I bought mine in store and I haven't seen it elsewhere, so I am not entirely sure if you can purchase it online or not. But Amazon probably has it in stock.

I love this video, it is from one of my favorite eps in Adventure Time. 

Absolutely hilarious; definitely should watch it if you have a few seconds to spare.

My love for lemons

Instead of beauty or fashion, I want to blog something quirky. 

Aside from many other things, I also really like lemons. Here are some of the reasons why. 

1. They are tart

2. They are vibrant and bright

3. They can become a delicious drink

4. They have a 'TUDE" (lemongrab)

5. They are citrus and citrus fruits are so great

6. They make awesome decor

7. They are yellow and yellow is a pretty color

8. And they are extremely fresh smelling

Lemons are all around awesome.

A Fresh Start

Okay, so here is my little anecdote to start off this blog.
I'm a 16 year old girl from New York City, who loves lemons and mint. Weird combo right? I have tried to blog before, but it never really worked out as I never have been fully exposed to the world of blogging. It's like when you were young and you first saw a pool, you would most likely just skim the water first before fully plunging into the unknown abyss; right? And that is what I did, except with blogs. But after a year or two I have found myself becoming more and more interested in blogging and that I quite like this new feeling, the feeling of being able to express myself without hesitation and the feeling of floating in this crystal clear substance. I'm not sure if I'm even making any sense, but whatever it is fine to be a little odd sometimes.
Growing up as a kid I have always been quite an introvert and I am still that way today. But I have found expressing myself online to be more comforting than nerve wrecking in a way, probably because I wouldn't know who would be reading this.
Naming this blog minimalist beauty is to spread the message that beauty comes from within and that "simplicity is the key note of all true elegance" (Coco Chanel). As cliche as that sounds, that is what I am envisioning for this blog. Either daily or weekly, I am going to try to blog beauty and fashion related posts. Now you're probably thinking that I'm totally contradicting myself, because I'm posting about makeup, which, is the complete opposite of inner beauty. But the beauty and fashion are just ways to boost self confidence and to feel beautiful inside and out. It is not to bring on narcissism or egotistical views, it is so that people can appreciate their natural beauty and be able to spice up their look if they wanted to at the same time.
I know that I might just have wrote a lot of crap that sounds ignorant and insipid, but I am only human and I can be lacking sometimes, But I hope that this dull first post will explain most of the content for this blog and make it clear why this blog was made.
Also I may post a few interests post here and there. :)
